Apple’s iOS 26 beta is stirring excitement with a hidden new ringtone discovered by sharp-eyed coders. This fresh tone is a variant of the classic “Reflection” ringtone, which has been the default since the iPhone X launched in 2017. Although not yet available in the official ringtone list, it’s tucked away in the beta code, hinting it might debut with the iPhone 17 this September.

The discovery was first shared by user @8810cfw and later amplified by renowned Apple insider ShrimpApplePro, fueling speculation that this could be the signature ringtone for Apple’s next flagship phone.

Apple has not officially confirmed the ringtone or whether it will appear in the stable iOS 26 release. As with many beta features, there’s always a chance it may not make the final cut. However, with the iPhone 17 launch approaching, this could be a sneak peek of what’s to come.

iOS 26 also simplifies ringtone customization by letting users set their own music as ringtones without needing GarageBand, a task previously considered tricky.

The full public release of iOS 26 is expected alongside the new iPhone lineup in September. Stay tuned for the official unveiling!
